As Andrea made an Endurance boomerang for a friend, he wanted to share the design with the community.

This kind of boomerang is for advanced thrower .

As most of you know, the Eric Darnell Trifly is a very popular boomerang easy to modify and at reasonnable cost .

How to make it?

Quite easy, just follow the steps:

Step1, print the plan at the right scale and cut around the lines. Then report the shape of the boomerang on a 9% fiberglass Trifly Darnell.

Step2: remove the exess of lateral material, either by sanding or by cutting it

You will now have the shape of the boomerang but not the airfoils. The airfoil here is quite easy to make, since Andrea is kind enough to give us the measurements. To report them from the plan to the boomerang, paint the edges. Then, with a caliper report the limits of the airfoils according to the plan.

Report the limits of the airfoils from the plan to the boomerang. Then you remove the exess of material. You can paint the parts where the material needs to be removed to have a better control of the process.

Apply the same process for the undercuts.
